CONWAY – Kids in grades 4-6 are invited to attend a free day of tennis on Saturday, April 13th from 10:30am-2:30pm at the Cranmore Mountain Resort Tennis Center.
This inaugural event, the Mount Washington Valley Kid Tennis Day, will include clinics, doubles, and singles play in a team format, plus free lunch, prizes, and awards. Everything is free of charge!
Hosted by Advantage Kids, a New Hampshire nonprofit dedicated to developing youth tennis and education, and sponsored by the US Tennis Association Foundation, this event is mean to be F-U-N!
Yes, even lunch is free.
The Mt. Cranmore Tennis Center is under the direction of USTA pros Chris and Justin Chaffee. Both “short,” full courts and youth tennis balls will be utilized for the players based on ability and experience.
No prior tennis experience is necessary. All are welcome to this day of exercise, team play, and motivation.
Event organizer and Advantage Kids board member Kent Hemingway brings 40 years of experience coaching and leading youth tennis.
“This event is going to be so much fun,” Kent said, “I can’t wait!”
All instructors at the event are certified by the USTA to lead children’s tennis activities.
Though all children in 4th-6th grade are welcome, space is limited to twenty-four participants. Parents and guardians can register their kids by emailing Kent Hemingway at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 603-832-8683.
