This is what we do

Advantage Kids has active summer programs in several towns and cities of the Lakes Region. Currently we either run or support tennis during the summer in Alton, Belmont, Franklin, Gilford, Laconia, Meredith and Tilton. Advantage Kids raises funds for scholarships as well as for tennis equipment, including racquets, tennis balls, nets and teaching devices. Advantage Kids provides scholarships on a need basis for children ages 6 to 18 to attend its tennis programs, as well as programs run by Parks & Rec Departments and other clubs. Advantage Kids vets and insures its tennis coaches to make sure they are technically competent while also knowing how to make tennis learning a fun experience. Advantage Kids is increasingly adding tennis programs for the fall, winter and spring months. So stay tuned and check out Facebook page and website for the latest information!

What We Do

Interested in getting your children signed up? Contact us to see if your children can attend one of our programs in the region. Interested in coaching? Contact us to find out more about becoming a coach or assistant coach. For those with tennis experience, teaching children to play a sport is one of the most rewarding experiences. Become a tennis angel by donating funds to help us make sure undeserved communities have strong tennis programs. Become a tennis archangel by donating a minimum of $1000 earmarked for particular community or purpose. Become a multi-year sponsor by committing $2500 which will allow us to run tennis programs in the community of your choice. Donations and Sponsorships LRTA serves as a funding entity where local citizens donate time and money to encourage youth tennis. We have already experienced a high level of support in 2012 and 2013. Funds donated for 2014 will be used to fund scholarships, provide awards, provide equipment, professional development, and to sponsor certain programs. If you like to discuss making a donation or being a LRTA sponsor, please call the Co-Chair of LRTA, Dr. Robert Ronstadt at 267-7349 or

Our mission is to facilitate and promote the teaching of tennis to the youth of Central New Hampshire as a sport they can enjoy for a lifetime. We seek to do so at minimal cost, providing need-based scholarships when appropriate, as well as other forms of support. How we achieve this… • Teach Sportsmanship & Tennis Etiquette; • Teach The Rules of Tennis; • Teach The Basic Techniques of Tennis; • Give students options about how & where to continue learning and playing tennis after the season is over. We emphasize in our teaching how tennis can be a game for life. Unlike many other youth sports, tennis is a game that can be played for decades after high school. It is also a game that can teach us a great deal about life.
